Service description

Narrate AI is a macOS application that converts text to speech using AI voices. You can use it by purchasing hours of listening time, or by providing your own OpenAI API key.

Purchases and credits

• All purchases are final and non-refundable
• Your purchased hours never expire
• Hours are deducted based on the duration of generated audio
• Unused hours remain in your account indefinitely

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Narrate AI to:

• Generate audio from content you don't have rights to use
• Create content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights
• Circumvent usage limits or billing
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the underlying models

Bring Your Own Key

If you choose to use your own OpenAI API key, you are responsible for:

• Compliance with OpenAI's terms of service
• Any charges incurred on your OpenAI account
• Keeping your API key secure

Limitation of liability

Narrate AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, interruption of service, or errors in generated audio.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
