What we collect

When you use Narrate AI, we collect:

• Your email address (for account authentication)
• Usage data (hours consumed, for billing)
• Payment information (processed securely by Stripe - we never see your card details)

How your text is processed

When you use Narrate AI to read text aloud, your text is sent to OpenAI's text-to-speech API to generate audio. We do not store your text - it is processed in real-time and discarded immediately after the audio is generated.

If you use the "Bring Your Own Key" option, your text is sent directly to OpenAI using your own API key, and never passes through our servers.

Third-party services

We use the following services:

• Supabase - Authentication and database
• Stripe - Payment processing
• OpenAI - Text-to-speech generation
• Vercel - Website hosting

Data retention

We retain your account data (email, usage history) as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.

We never sell your data

Your personal information is never sold to third parties. We only share data with the service providers listed above, and only as necessary to provide the service.
